Description: This striking figure is a rare example from the Turama River area of the Papuan Gulf. The figure has an elongated Torso with hands on the waist. The body is semi Triangular in section and the face carved with a mouth full of jagged teeth. It was collected by a Crocodile Hunter Dick Randolph prior to 1964 and still retains some pigments. It is clearly a female figure and is smaller than most.
