Description: This old Massim lime gourd is not covered with motifs because it comes from the Louisiade Archipelago. The pig tusk in the 100% bush material stopper has been carefully ground down and pierced so that the Bagi can be attached. This style of gourd is rare compared to those from the Trobriand Islands and this is a very good example.
